About me

My name is ecilia Larsson and I’m an innovator
In most families, you would probably be considered unique if you choose a career as an inventor, but that is not the case in our family. My dad, uncle and cousin are all successful inventors and having them as role models and mentors is a very valuable asset!
Ralf Larsson is my dad and he is one of Sweden’s leading inventors that has over two hundred patents, and has started a number of companies that later became listed or acquired by international major corporations. My father was also a pioneer in 3D printing, seeing the potential already in the 90s and worked out solutions that form the basis of an international company in 3D metal printing. I spent much of my growing up in my father’s workshop and hangar (my dad is also a helicopter pilot and has patents on certain helicopter rotor types), where I played with pop rivets and lathe. I fixed bikes in creative ways and made my own toys with things I found lying around in dads workshop.

His ability to be limitless in his creative thinking, while at the same time having the skill to structurally move the process on to the next stage, is something that inspired me to realise my own ideas in a similar way.
As a little girl, I used to say to my parents that I wish there could be more future, so that we can develop a more modern society. Now I am older and we undoubtedly live in a more modern society, while there are still many challenges for people whose everyday lives are limited by their circumstances.
For this reason, I focus my innovations on devising different solutions to help people with a variety of limiting conditions, such as disabilities or the fact that they live in a part of the world where everyday life is a challenge, in the form of lack of water, food shortages or sanitation.
As an 18-year-old, I started my first company as a freelance stylist for TV and advertising productions. I had assignments from Radisson Hotel, TV 4, Aftonbladet, and was involved in styling assignments for the “Eurovision song contest” and in music videos for artists such as Orup, Andreas Jonsson, Patric Isaksson and Barbado. I have a great sense of design, color, shape and although my innovations are based on functionality, the product is still characterised by an aesthetic feeling.
As a person I am outgoing, honest and empathetic. As an entrepreneur, I am goal-oriented, with a strong passion for creating new community-enhancing products and solutions.

My acquaintances know me as a person who works methodically, professionally and long-term to bring an idea throughout the process into a final product. I work structured within budget and I am often called a ”doer” by those who know me.
After my stylist career, I worked as a model in different parts of the world and also took the opportunity to take a double BBA (Bachelors in Business Administration) degree at a US university in Paris. The degree gave me international experience, and taught me to communicate freely in English and French. The years abroad also gave me insight into how people from widely different cultures and backgrounds think. This requires not only social skills, but also an ability to listen and be able to adapt.
My goal with the company is to create more innovations that help people and develop communities for the future.

Looking forward to meeting you!
Sincerely

/ Cecilia Larsson
